Digital Marketing Latest Commentary
We are pleased to announce the winner of our Fall 2016 Scholarship: Abbey Willman, a 19-year-old student living in Madisonville, Louisiana. Abbey will be attending Delgado Community College in New Orleans in the fall for her final semester.
inSegment recently introduced the Scholarship Program to find gifted people enrolled at a high school, college, or university in the US who have an interest in digital marketing.
To enter, students were required to submit an original essay. This year’s topic was “3 Digital Marketing Trends that Have Changed Your Perception of the Industry.” Abbey, who has aspirations to become a business professional and is fascinated by consumer behavior, wrote a compelling, well-researched piece about advertising (you can read it here) that earned her a $1000 prize.
“I applied for this scholarship in particular because of my interest in the marketing world,” Abbey said. “I am intrigued by how advertisements can capture the value of products and influence customers’ buying habits. After researching and discovering potential trends in marketing, I found myself discovering a whole new realm of marketing.”
